St Dogmaels Farmers Market every Tuesday 9am-1pm. http://www.stdogmaelsabbey.org.uk/producers_market.php.  This farmers market is amazing and has won many well deserved awards.  Producers who are simply fabulous are Mandy Walters who sells dressed crab (all year depending on weather), dressed lobster (all year depending on weather), sewin (Welsh sea trout) (spring to early summer), mackerel (July to Autumn), scallops (November-March), Cardigan Bay prawns (November-March).  Mandy’s husband and sons go out on their boats and everything is caught freshly and brought to the market within hours. Carn Edward meat – Robert’s meat is simply fabulous – Longhorn beef, rare breed mutton and lamb. Foxhill Preserves – Helen’s preservers are delicious. Troed Y Rhiw vegetables – Nathans produce is organic, fresh and great.  The St Dogmaels Mill flour is brilliant. Caws Cenarth Cheese. This cheese has won so many awards. There a few different types they do but amongst them is Perl wen – Welsh brie, Golden Cenarth, perfect for baking and eating with fresh bread, Perl Las Welsh stilton. Where the market takes place you can have coffee etc. in the coach house and the market is overlooked by the stunning Abbey ruins.  It is a great day out.
