Aberystwyth Farmers Market is held on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month and has over 30 stalls. Take the left turn out of the park up to the main road. St Dogmaels Farmers Market every Tuesday 9am-1pm. http://www.stdogmaelsabbey.org.uk/producers_market.php. This farmers market is amazing and has won many well deserved awards. Producers who are simply fabulous are Mandy Walters who sells dressed crab (all year depending on weather), dressed lobster (all year depending on weather), sewin (Welsh sea trout) (spring to early summer), mackerel (July to Autumn), scallops (November-March), Cardigan Bay prawns (November-March). Mandy’s husband and sons go out on their boats and everything is caught freshly and brought to the market within hours. Carn Edward meat – Robert’s meat is simply fabulous – Longhorn beef, rare breed mutton and lamb. Foxhill Preserves – Helen’s preservers are delicious. Troed Y Rhiw vegetables – Nathans produce is organic, fresh and great. The St Dogmaels Mill flour is brilliant. Caws Cenarth Cheese. This cheese has won so many awards. There a few different types they do but amongst them is Perl wen – Welsh brie, Golden Cenarth, perfect for baking and eating with fresh bread, Perl Las Welsh stilton. Where the market takes place you can have coffee etc. in the coach house and the market is overlooked by the stunning Abbey ruins. It is a great day out. Turn left out of the park and head to the main road. Turn right to Cardigan. When you arrive at Cardigan you will come to a large roundabout. Turn right to the town centre. You will go passed Cardigan hospital and head to a junction where you have to give away to traffic from the right. Head straight over and just after that junction you will see a turning to the left by the garage. Take the left turn and follow the road round – this takes you passed some shops and houses and then the castle walls on your right. You then come to a large bridge turn left over the bridge. Just after the bridge you will see a small pub on the right hand corner and a sign post for St Dogmaels. Turn right and follow the road in to St Dogmaels – approx. 1 mile. As you come in to St Dogmaels you will see a sign for the farmers market which is held in the grounds of the Abbey.

Once in Aberaeron go over the bridge and take the first left and drive down that street and passed the car park on your left and turn left and both Hive on the Quay and Fish at the Quay are on the left.
